Cores
Cores.exe is a program for core decomposition of networks.
Run it from a command line. It requires four parameters.
- algorithm name: value, core or pcore
- file name: it must be in format, recognized by Pajek (.net)
- type of value or core: 0-4 (core) or 0-14 (value, pcore)
- include loops: 0=no, 1=yes
Types of values and cores:
- 0 = number of all edges
- 1 = number of different neighbors
- 2 = number of incoming edges
- 3 = number of outgoing edges
- 4 = number of incoming + number of outgoing edges
- 5 = sum of weights of all edges
- 6 = sum of weights of incoming edges
- 7 = sum of weights of outgoing edges
- 8 = maximal weight of all edges
- 9 = maximal weight of incoming edges
- 10 = maximal weight of outgoing edges
- 11 = maximal number of incoming and outgoing edges
- 12 = maximal sum of weights of incoming and outgoing edges
- 13 = number of triangles
- 14 = number of directed triangles
The result is written to the output file with extension .clu.
In case of values and pcores we also get .vec file.
