|Conference: 25th International Workshop on Graph-Theoretic Concepts in Computer Science |
Organized by: Institute for Theoretical Computer Science, ETH
Sponsors: Swiss National Science Foundation and ETH Zurich
Field: Mathematics, Combinatorics, Computer Science, Internet
Description: The WG workshop series celebrates its anniversary: It looks back on a remarkable tradition of a quarter century, with predecessors organized at various places in Europe. The workshop will be held at the Centro Stefano Franscini on Monte Verita, Ascona, in the Italian speaking part of Switzerland.
The workshop aims at uniting theory and practice by demonstrating how graph-theoretic concepts can be applied to various areas in Computer Science, or by extracting new problems from applications. The goal is to present recent research results and to identify and explore directions of future research. The workshop is well-balanced w.r.t. established researchers and young scientists. For many years now, the proceedings have been published in the LNCS series of Springer-Verlag
