Located at Riva del Garda, Italy, Sunbelt XXX will provide an interdisciplinary venue for social scientists, mathematicians, computer scientists, ethnologists, and others to present current work in the area of social networks.
Workshops and conference sessions will allow individuals interested in theory, methods, or applications of social network analysis to share ideas and explore common interests. Workshops will occupy the afternoon on Tuesday, June 29th, and the morning on Wednesday, June 30th.
Social Networks and the network perspective have been recognized as relevant and important in a number of areas of inquiry. Currently, INSNA has over 1000 members and more people than ever are interested in attending and presenting their work at Sunbelt conferences. To accommodate such a large number (500 to 560) of papers, there will be five paper sessions and six to eight poster seminar sessions running concurrently. Presentations of papers will begin at 1:00 on Wednesday afternoon and continue through to noon on Sunday, the 4th.
The number of concurrent paper sessions will be kept to five, with 20-minutes for each paper. There will also be six to eight 60-minute poster sessions, morning and afternoon coffee breaks, and a lunch break an hour and forty minutes long to preserve open time for participants to engage in conversation and discussions of research strategies, results, and applications.
